Addressing entry-level rollouts and low population density region requirements
Las Vegas, NV – October 10, 2016 –WISPAPALOOZA —Telrad Networks, a global provider of innovative LTE telecom solutions, today announced the launch of a price optimized LTE solution, addressing the needs of low-density population areas and new network deployments. The Telrad solution provides operators with a cost effective NLOS solution to reach more subscribers in a broader range of scenarios and environments.
The launch consists of the LTE CPE8000 subscriber unit, paired with the flagship BreezeCOMPACT base station, now available in a 2×2 radio configuration. Many Internet service providers serve areas with lower population density where a 4×4 radio may exceed the needs of the deployment scenario, adding unnecessary cost. The new 2×2 BreezeCOMPACT addresses cost-sensitive deployments, providing operators with a price-appropriate solution, leveraging the same platform of the multi-radio solution, and providing operators an upgrade path to a 4×4 configuration with a software-only upgrade – something no other vendor provides.
